What to Bring Especially for this Event

  • Snacks and Drinks for the Friday night Wine and Cheese Meet and Greet after the Friday night concert. (This is optional but appreciated.)
  • For Saturday: Please bring a potluck dish for about 10 to 12 people with a label for ingredients.  If you need help keeping your dish cold until time for the potluck, contact an event coordinator.
  • Item for the Art Raffle: if you are an artist or craftsperson, a donation of an item for the Art Raffle is very much appreciated.
  • For Saturday’s main ritual: Costuming, garb, or ritual clothing (including a masquerade style mask) that expresses your sensual side, if this is something that would make you feel empowered, OR any other manner of ritual clothing that expresses your SELF in “divine empowerment.” OSS will have some masks available if you don’t have one. There will also be a face/body painting station if you wish to adorn and decorate yourself with paint. Your creativity is the only limit! These are suggested options, encouraged to fit the theme of “sensuality,” but are not required. Most importantly, we want you to be able to participate in the ritual in the way that feels authentic and empowering for you–however you choose to express that!

The Basics of Camping at OSS

The grounds of OSS are open and do not have designated camping sites as one might expect at a state park campground. You may camp anywhere that is not a ritual or community space.  Tent, pull-behind campers, and drivable camping vehicles are all allowed.

Camping is rustic: there are no electric or water hook-ups, no flush toilets.  Porta-potties are available on site. There is a shower house for hot showers, with both “open air” and a private stall available.

OSS does not offer trash disposal services. Please plan to remove your own trash and recycling.  Pets may attend but must be leashed and under control at all times.

If you have accessibility challenges and need more information about the grounds or amenities at OSS or how we can help you, please contact info@oakspiritsanctuary.org.

Ice will be available to purchase on site for $3.00 per bag.

Natural Laws of OSS

The “Natural Laws” is a document that describes the land use rules and personal conduct expectations for being on the OSS property. It is a “cliff notes” list summarized from the OSS comprehensive policy and procedures manual.

We appreciate your reading, and of course observation of, the Natural Laws.
