SUMMARY:General Information about OSS Ticketed Festivals
DESCRIPTION:Oak Spirit Sanctuary hosts four weekend festivals per year for which there is a registration fee.  These are:\n\n\n\nOstara: Around the date of the Spring Equinox \n\n\n\nBeltane: Usually first weekend in May\, closest to May 1st \n\n\n\nHarvest Homecoming:  Usually the first weekend of September\, the weekend of Labor Day.  An extra day of relaxed camping (Monday\, Labor Day) is included in this festival \n\n\n\nSamhain: A weekend close to October 31st  \n\n\n\nOther festivals\, such as a Women’s Gathering\, are developed when there is interest in and planners for such events. \n\n\n\nPricing\n\n\n\nThe pricing of these events was standardized starting from February 2023.  The following price chart may help with planning and budgeting for OSS events.  OSS prices events with three “tiers:”  An early registration discounted price\, a regular price\, and an At-the-Gate price.  Day passes for Saturday are available with a discount for purchasing online.  Usually\, registration opens about five to six weeks ahead of the event. The dates of the price changes are planned in advance and posted with the individual event pages.  The ticketing platform is set to automatically change the price on the appropriate date.  OSS encourages registering online whenever possible as this helps with attendance count and preparation as well as gets you discounted pricing.  \n\n\n\nPlease note that all children 17 years and younger are free for all events. DESCRIPTION:Adult Beltane  18+ \n\n\n\nAs the wheel of the year turns toward the fire and fertility of Beltane\, we gather once more to celebrate fertility\, vitality\, and the blossoming of life in all forms.  \n\n\n\nPlease note: this is an 18+ Adult ONLY event. \n\n\n\nThroughout the weekend\, we will offer a variety of workshops exploring seasonal themes\, spiritual practices\, and creative expression. While final details are still unfolding\, you can expect opportunities to learn\, share\, and grow together. We are also honored to welcome our musical guest\, Spellsinger\, whose enchanting sound will help weave the magic of the weekend into something truly memorable. \n\n\n\nBeloved traditions return this year\, including the joyful and symbolic Maypole dance. We will also host games inspired by strength\, skill\, and camaraderie—open to participants of all genders—bringing a playful energy to the gathering. Community camping and a shared potluck will offer time to slow down\, connect\, and nourish both body and soul.  \n\n\n\nAs part of fostering a respectful community space\, we will be bringing back our wristband system. Green wristbands indicate openness to friendly or flirtatious interaction\, while red wristbands signal a preference not to be approached. This system is meant to support communication and comfort\, but it does not replace the importance of consent—please continue to ask and honor boundaries at all times. \n\n\n\nWhether you come to dance\, to learn\, to rest\, or to connect\, you are welcome here. This is a space to be seen\, to belong\, and to celebrate the vibrant energy of life alongside others walking their own paths. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHere at Oak Spirit Sanctuary we believe that everyone should have access to community and spiritual connection. If financial hardship is a barrier\, please don’t let that stop you from attending. We offer options to support accessibility and encourage you to reach out so we can help make your participation possible. Vendors are kindly asked to contribute a donation to our art raffle or auction—items may be used during this event or saved for future gatherings to support the sanctuary and our community offerings. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in vending\, please follow these steps: \n\n\n\n\nRegister for the event through our standard attendance registration.\n\n\n\nComplete the separate vendor registration form.\n\n\n\n\n\nVendor registration \n\n\n\n\nIf you would like to be featured in our promotions\, please send us an email with links to your pages\, photos\, and any materials you would like us to share. This also helps us highlight and thank you for vending with us—both during this event and in future community spotlights. \n\n\n\nJoin us as we light the fires of Beltane and celebrate the beauty of community. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring Especially for this Event\n\n\n\nSnack food or beverages for the sharing . At-The-Gate registration is available.  When you arrive\, come to the registration area and check-in.   \n\n\n\nMarch 31st: Registration opens with an early discount for 2 weeks \n\n\n\nApril 14th: Pricing changes to regular price available for 2 weeks and 2 days \n\n\n\nApril 29th: Online registration ends. No entries from 9:00 pm unless other arrangements have been made by contacting info@oakspiritsanctuary.org.  \n\n\n\nAlthough the gate is closed at 9:00 PM\, this is for entries and anyone can leave the property at any time. \n\n\n\nGate opens at 9:00 am Saturday and Sunday mornings. Event closes at 3:00 PM Sunday.If you are attending with a Saturday Day Pass\, you must leave by midnight. \n\n\n\nOvernight Stays at this Event\n\n\n\nCamping on the land is included with this event. Please be prepared for any kind of weather event. \n\n\n\nIf you wish to reserve space inside the retreat center for sleeping\, this is an additional fee of $10. per person. This is on a first come/ first served basis. There will be an “add-on” option when you register. Only choose this if your request for retreat space has been approved. \n\n\n\n You will need to email info@oakspiritsanctuary.org to request sleeping space and check on availability.   \n\n\n\nYou will need to bring your own sleeping set-up: cot\, inflatable air mattress\, and all bed linens/ pillows.  You may use the kitchen for the preparation of your food.  \n\n\n\nThe Basics of Camping at OSS\n\n\n\nThe grounds of OSS are open and do not have designated camping sites as one might expect at a state park campground. You may camp anywhere that is not a ritual or community space.  Tent\, pull-behind campers\, and drivable camping vehicles are all allowed. \n\n\n\nCamping is rustic: there are no electric or water hook-ups\, no flush toilets.  Porta-potties are available on site. Frog Bog (shower house) will be in operation for this event.  \n\n\n\nOSS does not offer trash disposal services.
