August Lunar Gathering

Hello our beautiful Oak Spirit Sanctuary Community! We are happy to continue the resumption of in-person lunar celebrations!
Here are the current COVID guidelines OSS is following for the foreseeable future:
1) If you have had a recent COVID exposure, have a fever, or any symptoms of COVID, please do not attend.
2) Please observe social distancing during rituals and for any socializing at this event. Masks are not required in Cooper County, so mask wearing is at your own discretion.
3) At this time, no potluck dinner or open use of the retreat center. Please bring your own meal and dishware.
4) There will be social time at the bardic circle fire after ritual.
5) Community members are invited to camp, but we suggest in small familiar/exposure groups. It is $10 dollars per tent per night.

5:00 Workshop with background information for ritual
6:00 Ritual practice and firetending
7:00 Ritual
8:00 Dinner together (Please bring your own meal)

Community Potluck is at 6pm- bring a prepared potluck dish large enough to serve 10 and join us

After dinner Community Social until Ritual

Ritual is at 8:00pm
Come early to settle in, help prepare, or volunteer on the land.

Attendance at our monthly lunar gatherings is always free. If you would like to camp overnight there is a $10 per night/per tent fee.
Donations are optional, but suggested for lunar gatherings. We depend on event donations to operate!

3:00pm – Year and a day class – Types, genres and styles of rituals
4:30pm – Clergy Class – Topic “Pending”
Community Potluck is at 6pm- bring a prepared potluck dish large enough to serve 10 and join us
After dinner Community Social until Ritual
Ritual is at 8:00pm
Come early to settle in, help prepare, or volunteer on the land.
This day is a planned work day for projects on the land and around the retreat center. So come out early and lend a hand if you can.
